Everybody’s talking about pumpkin. Love it (like Ashley and Jamie feat. Mermanda, or hate it (a la Stealth Nerd), tis the season for Pumpkin Flavor additives in our coffees, cookies, breads, candles and potpourri.
I’m in the love it camp. I LOVE the smell/taste/feel of pumpkin pie and all of the spicy, nutmeg and pie crust goodness that comes along with it. I do not love Pumpkin Spice Lattes, much like Stealth Nerd here, since Caribou’s “base” is the White Chocolate Mocha. Since I don’t like WCM’s inherent ingredient of White Chocolate, I’m off the boat on that one.
But I absolutely worship fall. The crunchy leaves, the amazingly clear blue skies, highs in the 60’s, lows in the 50s, perfect sleeping weather, hoodie sweatshirt and worn out jeans, crisp air, and the taste and smell of pumpkin and spice wafting out of kitchens and bakeries…
*sigh* I would really love to be outside right now.
And yes, I filed this under “sexy things.” Fall is sexy!

I’m a huge fan of pumpkin, but not in a latte.
But the SBUX pumpkin spice latte is not based at all on the white mocha, it’s an entirely different base altogether. Maybe try that one? I’m not the PSL’s biggest fan at ALL. I’m ready for some gingerbread lattes though!
